Beauty maven, cosmetic consultant, and skincare innovator—our Director Product, Inderjeet Kaur “Indy,” dons many hats. Indy spent over eight years selecting and supplying pharma and cosmetic raw materials to leading companies, gaining multi-faceted industry experience. Then, one day, while conversing with a colleague, she became reacquainted with oat, leading her down the rabbit hole of exploring more about the grain’s beautifying power.
Indy poured the next few months researching, developing, and testing the formulations on herself. Finally, after noticing the all-encompassing qualities of oats—moisturising, exfoliating, soothing, cleansing, complexion-enhancing, and so on—she decided to share the magical ingredient’s phenomenal benefits by developing Oats Based Products.
Pollution, stress, lifestyle changes, environmental triggers, etc., throw our skin’s microbiome out of whack, paving the way for problems like dullness, dryness, irritation, and acne, among others. Indy realised the only way to restore the balance of our skin’s natural microbial ecology was by feeding it with the right prebiotics—which oats contain copiously.
